    e-mail

    hello all, a quickie question...i am now using Agent by Forte' as a newsreader, it can also be set up to retrieve my e-mail, i use hotmail...Agent wants to know what the e-mail provider info is...i have no freakin' clue, can anyone help?. TIA

    I do not think you can use normal email programs to log into Hotmail as it works on HTTP as opposed to POP3 or IMAP4. The only program that will allow you to log into Hotmail via an email client is Outlook Express, you could try setting Outlook Express up by going to Tools > Accounts > Add > Mail and then filling out the wizard all you need is your email address and password to do this. When you have finished if goto the properties of the new account and to the Servers tab it will provide you with the server names. Although as i said i don't know of any other program cappable of connecting to hotmail.
