    Internet Discussion Board Problems

I have a 1.2 GHz AMD processor, XP, IE6.0, and cable access to net. Works great except on one certain discussion board that is in a format much like this one, my computer doesn't seem to function properly. When I try to login, the screen blinks and I am usually right back where I started. Occasionally it will let me login, but then if I click "post new message" or other commands, again the screen blinks and nothing happens. It usually refuses to accept a "logoff" button click, also. I contacted the webmaster for the board and he said no one else is reporting any problems. Funny thing is - I have two other computers on my home network (both Win98SE , one with 350mHz and other about 550mHz processor, both with IE6.0, and they both work fine on this very same board that I have the problem with on the XP computer! I am CERTAIN it is not a username/password problem - checked and rechecked that! The XP computer works great at all other websites and discussion boards (including the one I'm posting on right now!) Any ideas? (I also posted this under the Windows XP forum because I don't know if this is a XP problem or something else.)

The only thing that I can think of is they are sending your computer cookies and your computer says NO WAY. Or your security settings are set too high. May wanna compare the internet settngs on both machines.
