    Hey Maxx, thanx for clearing that up...I like to go straight to the manufacturer as well. I just needed some guidance on finding updates; there was great feedback and useful words of wisdom. Can't be too trusting these days...wouldn't want my PIII to end up being an expensive doorstop due to ignorance.

    I admit, the discussions in these threads generates enough info to guide most users and their problem/questions in the right direction. This site is very helpful--I'm not intimidated by my PC anymore Cheers, Teddy.
