Unable to surf web in IE5
Hi
Anyone out there go an answer to this one,
My connection is fine, i can send and recieve
email, but unable to browse any web pages.
I'm using IE5.
Any help people

Go into Internet Options (Control Panel>Internet)and check the Connection Tab. Make sure it says connect to the internet using my modem or dial up settings and not connect using a LAN or don't dial a connection.Sounds basic but alot of people miss this one. If it is set to connect through your modem or phone line then make sure it is using the correct Dial Up. Are you connecting to the Internet and then launching IE or does it Autoconnect? Also make sure your browser isn't set to work in offline mode. On your toolbar click on File and uncheck Work Offline
