Dos Shell
Does anyone know where can I download the dos shell? I read that it comes with older versions of dos but there is a disk that you can use to install it

SHELL
Specifies the name and location of the command interpreter you want MS-DOS
to use. You can use this command only in your CONFIG.SYS file.
If you want to use your own command interpreter (instead of COMMAND.COM),
you can specify its name by adding a SHELL command to your CONFIG.SYS file.
Syntax
SHELL=[[drive:]path]filename [parameters]
Parameters
[[drive:]path]filename
Specifies the location and name of the command interpreter you want MS-DOS to use.
Is this the "shell" you are refering to?
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Hi,
I think you mean DOSSHELL.EXE - GUI which came with DOS 5.x. I still have it. If you want I can email it to you.

That's right dosshell.exe. I have been looking for it but I have no idea where I can find it. Can you please email it to me? By the way, is there a place I can download dos 6.0 setup files?
