    Verifying DMI Pool Data message

    I wonder if someone here can please help me out with a problem I got. When I boot my machine it all stops when i reach the Verifying DMI Pool Data message? I have tryed reseting the bios and still i can not get anywere.

    you may need a bootdisk
    either your bios is not correct
    or your harddrive is not bootable...

    how did it get like this ?

    if your bios was reset
    you will need to find the parameters of your hard drive
    in bios...will be a list of your hard drives
    it should be set to auto...
    or to user
    and then the cylinders/heads/sectors size info

    should be something like 786 / 16 / 62 or whatever....
    look for a harddrive autodetect feature in your bios
    if the size of your hard drive in bios looks correct...then it is a software problem
