boot error

My husband reformatted the hard drive in an old computer he just bought.Now at start up it says'insert boot disk in dr a:'well,we tried to put in the dos 6.2 but it says that's not it.What are we doing wrong?Any suggestions?

Howdy
Try putting disk1 of DOS6.2 in A:drive
and start the computer, and see if this
does the trick.
