At boot-up, A drive is not recognized

I installed a new A drive on my computer (WIN95 OS) and at boot-up, the A drive is not being recognized and I am getting two beeps. All the connections and the power supply seem to be connected correctly. Any ideas?

    Hi,

Have a close look at your new drive. Some drives have 1st pin not near power supply connector but on another side. May be you need to reverse the ribon cable.

    Good luck, Igor M
