    Boot Disk creation

I need to create a start-up disk for a powermac running system 7.5.3 . I have another station up and running with the same OS and processor. How can I create a bootable floppy?

First, if you have your original OS CD, there is a folder of disk images. Double Click on Disk Tools. You will be asked to insert a floppy. Do this and in minutes you will have your startup disk.
Alternatively, if you have a zip drive, a seperate hard disk, or any other seperate volume or removable media. Install or copy your system onto this disk. Once copied, open the new system folder so the computer can 'see' the system and finder. Close the window and check that your system folder has the system folder icon. If it does, go to Control Panels, select Startup Disk, and chose the disk with your new system on it. Close the window and Restart.
    Wa-la.
