This was a long time ago, but had similar probs with mobile laptop users logging on locally, but had all their network shares using 'log on as', so that they could always access necessary services etc. I think the trouble was when the security policy asked for a change of password every 30/45/60 days, their passwords would expire, hence they lost everything, and I would have to manually change the password in User Mgr for Domains to match their local logon password. This is all a bit vague now, but hope it helps.

If not, could you verify the following:

Is the printer attached to the user's PC or is networked?

If printer is networked, is it using Jetdirect/NIC, or is it using another client/server?

If using another client/server, what is the operating system (W2K etc.)?

Just FYI, I'm not around for a few days, but hopefully someone else can help you out.

    Cheers,

    Tony
