    Sound is gone!

    Hello,
    I have a strange problem. I am running NT4 workstation with SP6 and recently my speakers just stopped working. I have a SoundBlaster card of some sort but I don't want to reinstall drivers except as a last resort because doing that was disastrous the first time.
    Any clue what I can check or where I can look to get my sound back?

    Check if you speakers connected to sound card.
    and if it connected to speakers OUT not MIC In
