unable to load profile
I just set up a new profile for someone in windows nt. I set it up under user manager for domains. When she logs on it says operating system was unable to load your profile. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

If the profile is roaming then it's possible that the she is being logged in with cached information from a previous login that worked ok. If they are mandatory profiles it could be that the profile doesn't exist yet and you'll need to create one - change profile to roaming, log in, then out, then change back to mandatory.
That's assuming other people can log in ok and it's not simply the machine that's being naughty...

In User Manager for Domain, select the affected user and then go to the Profile section. Check the User Profile path to see if the entered path ends in ".man".
Now check the actual profiles directory to see if the profile name matches, i.e., does it end in ".man"?
If in UsrMgrForDmn it ends in ".man" but in the profile directory it doesn't, or straight doesn't exist, delete the ".man2" from the profile in UsrMgrForDmn. I.e., "affecteduser.man" is now "affecteduser".
The user should now be able to log in using the default user profile.
