    Proxy Software

    Hi Guys,
Can anyone recommend a proxy server for a small NT4 network (PDC + 2/3 wkstns)?.
I've tried AnalogX, but it's a pain to get it working.

I use an ISDN dialup connection.

    Many thanks.

I use WinGate - (www.wingate.com) its basic but works OK.
One small problem I've found is getting the Dial-Up networking to dial multiple channels to create 128Kbs - but if your TA has a good driver it should be OK.

What kind of problem are you having with AnalogX? I am running it on 4 different networks, and never had any problem installing or using it?

    Jeremy,

All I get on the web browser is 'cannot resolve this URL' (www.excite.com).
I can't even get AnalogX to initialise the modem.

    Take a look at www.winroute.com
Excellent software, built in dhcp, dns, remote administration, proxy/NAT.

I was using Sygate (www.sygate.com) and really liked it! It's effortless to set up and maintain and I never had trouble with.

Just switched to WinRoute (www.winroute.com) because of its firewall. Also very nice.

I'd highly recommend either of these.
