outlook nightmare, is it exchange??

Hi,

Some of our users are having the same problems all the time, we run exchange 5.5 and outlook 2000, when these users log on outlook takes ages to open but as you think your in a message comes up saying could not log on to server 'try again' or 'finish'. If you select try again it goes straight in. Also when a user is in say word or excel when the send from within the app it takes ages for the email box to come up and sometimes it just crashes.

It is something to do with exchange do you think, there is an issue somewhere becsue other users have no trouble at all!

Check offline settings, name resolution, RPC binding order as listed in:

http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q182/7/49.asp

Then re-install TCP/IP and Outlook.
