Problem Installing PnP Eagle CM8738 Sound Card on Windows NT 4.0
I just bought a machine and configured it as a backup server using Windows NT 4.0. I also bought a PnP Eagle CM8738 sound card separately and installed it on the machine, but i was incountering problem during installation. I followed the instruction stated in the CD. I even downloaded a new driver from their site yet the problem was not resolved. I need to have that sound operational to centralized audio/music in our office. Need assistance badly.
Thanks in advance.....

Does the card have a jumper to set it to NOT be PnP. WIN NT4 is not much of a PnP platform compared to WIN95. I usually disable PnP on any hardware if I can. Also check the BIOS. Some machines have a PnP enable/disable setting.
