NT 4 SP3 Y2K patch
I downloaded the y2k patch for NT4 SP3 and extracted the files into a temporary folder on the server. Now what? It extracted to 4 folders (cpl, dll, exe, sys) with .dbg files inside. I don't know what to do with these now!! Please help.... Thanks.

I suggest that you download and install SP5 or SP6a. Either of these should include all of the Y2K fixes that you have as well as numerous other NT Fixes.

I think the Y2K update for NT is packaged together with SP4 which is the Y2K update for the core OS. I think it updates other components beside the NT core. Its size is over 70 MB versus 34 MB for SP6.
Don't unzip it - run it. Look at the readme also.

I remember before SP5 was released trying to determine from the Microsoft site exactly what I needed to apply to get the latest Y2K fixes. I got dififerent information from different places within Microsoft's web site.
I was just about to give the task up for a while when SP5 was released which included the Y2K fixes.
