    RAS Error 733, please help !?

    Running Server 4.0 Service Pack 1 (sorry) with RAS installed and TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, and NetBEUI configured. Trying to dial into that server from a Workstation 4.0 (Service Pack 4) with TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, and NetBEUI enabled. Connects successfully, but then get message "TCP/IP CP reported error 733: The PPP control protocol for this network protocol is not available on the server. The server supports PPP but does not support the client network protocol."

    Have tried many combinations of server and client machines, always with the same error.

    Suggestions? Thanks!!

    Try upgrading the server to SP4 or SP5.
