I heard there are people making 1.44mb self booting floppies with a Toned down version of 3.1?

They run 3.1 from a floppy!

So anyone know how to do this? I heard they used a CAB file.

The reason I posted this in the 98 forum, is I feel that the 3.1 forum is not visited enough to get a good response.

I d/l'd it but had to copy/paste the d/l location...

into the address bar while still on the angelfire page after I got the message that they don't allow direct linking to their site.

EDIT> they don't tell you, but the .exe file you download, when run, will extract itself to a floppy disk.

Also worth noting is that I checked it first with three a/v programs and it's clean.
