EZ TRUST ANTIVIRUS USERS - Do you have this file??
Hi,
In the EZTrust Help area I found this:
""This help file provides the names of specific viruses detected by this
version of eTrust EZ Antivirus.
It also provides information regarding types of viruses. If you wish to
check if a specific virus is detected by this version please open the
VIRUSES.HLP file and search for the virus by name."
This sounds like a good feature, so I looked for this file (Viruses.hlp) but I don't have it. I wrote to EZTrust support and they gave me the website address for their virus library.
Could you please check if you have this in your software? Thanks.
Sincerely, Nancee

Don't have it on mine. I doubt if such a file was ever intended for installation on user's PCs. It would be huge and would have to be updated every day.
In any case, all the a-v vendors have lists of viruses on their web sites.

Thank you both for checking that for me
That would be a tremendous file! My main concern was if I was missing that file, then maybe I was missing something else. Now, my mind's at ease.

Hi Nanceel0, I opted for their email notification for updates(which i've received about 3 to 5 times a week),and it gives you a hot link to the virus library which is nice...

Thanks Ridge and Train! I do get the update notices and a virus newsletter too I just looked at the info about the VIRUSES.HLP file again and this time I noticed it is preceded by "The online virus information ..." I missed that the first time around.
My version is 5.4.2.0. Is that the same as the scan engine? Because I see no reference to a "scan engine".
Thanks again.
Sincerely, Nancee
