Need WebWasher info
I just installed WebWasher (just downloaded the latest version) and was surprised to find that resources of 85% were dropped to 74% the second WebWasher was launched.
I did not have it auto launch a browser it is only WebWasher. For those of you who use or have tried it, is this normal? Did you see the same resource percentage in use?
I have a lot of programs, I've never seen one rob 11% before.

I am the biggest antagonist of system tray programs. It used to be that all you would find in my tray was the speaker icon and the time. I use webwasher and I'm very happy with it. I only let it run when I'm browsing... and I haven't noticed a system performance hit. Not having to deal with the ads probably adds some responsiveness to the browser anyway. I don't know if it chokes 11%, but the real test is if things actually run slower. If it cripples your PC, it's obviously not a good program for you.

It's not crippling my PC but if you wouldn't mind could you open My Computer / Help / About... and tell me what the system resources read without WebWasher on a fresh boot and then launch WebWasher and tell me what it reads.

Unfortunately, I upgraded to win2000 recently, so I'm no help at all there.
If you're not browsing, you can disable it with one left click on the icon or exit completely with the right click menu. This way it won't drag you down when you're not using it.
Maybe someone else can help you out with your resource question.
