Need Video Card Upgrade Advice!!
I am thinking about upgrading my on-board Intel 810 video to a "PNY NVIDIA TNT2 32MB PCI Video Card" (Circuit City Sale $49.95) and would like some honest opinions. I must use a PCI card since I have no AGP slot. I use my computer stictly fo the Internet & E-Mail and do no gaming. Would appreciate some honest opinions whether it's worth it or not. Thanks in advance.

it will definitely be a step up and will definitely look better and be faster. Although it would be better to see if you can pick up one of the pci voodoo 3 cards as the TNT2 is getting on a bit these days.
what will you be using it for?

khisanth, Thanks for the reply. I use my computer strictly for the Internet & E-Mail and at the present time do no gaming at all.

If you don't mind my asking, what is your reason for upgrading your video, if not for gaming? Are you having problems now?
Upgrading your video card is commonly done, but is not guaranteed to be trouble-free.

Here's a real nice card at a great price, $49. It will do everything and more that you need it for. It's the Visiontek Xtasy 5632:

Thanks for everyones advice. I am not having any problems with my onboard video so I think I'll just stick with what I have since I don't do any gaming. Thanks again.
