why do I disconnect sending email

This may just be a problem with my Isp or a setting in my mail program I don't know but when i try to send an email, say anything over half a meg it goes along for a while they stops and disconnects me from my connection. Sometimes it just says it can't end the email and although I am still connected, I can't do anything on the net as it is dead. Usually dialing in help but there are times I have to reboot. Is this a common problem or just a PITA one I have?

If you have Outlook, or Outlook Express.
Go to Tools Options, Mail Format and choose HTML.
Try this, especially if its a picture and see if that works. Send in Jpeg format helps.
Also, try not to have to many internet programs running. Try just the e-mail program.

Hello again, you could try control alt delete and ending task on all programs except Systray & Explorer.
I am not sure if its your ISP, though you can always try another. You can have more than one ISP.
Just a thought, in Internet Explorer, Programs, is the E-mail part, got your e-mail server in and not an old one??
