why does this board want to run a VB script on my machine?
Hi
it didn't before, so why start doing it?
I don't even like to have to have activeX stuff on...

Maybe a new type of adds? I'm using Naviscope to suppres adds. Usually I just see an evenly colored box instead of the adds, but lately it won't stop the adds at the top of each page....

It's back again and the source contains the following
Code:
document.write('<SCRIPT LANGUAGE=VBScript\> \n');
It's part of the OAS AD 'flash-seminar' ad stuff from realmedia.

Man, that ad is annoying. Causes problems when it's on screen and you try to post a message, too.

so I wasn't mistaken
I thought something was "skewy"
some pages just don't want to load when a certain ad is at the top.
mind you, I also have a problem on the cable connection. its speed is waaay below what it should be.
but still, some pages don't load.
period.
