High CPU usage
Typically when I'm surfing using any browser my CPU core temps vary between 50C and 65C with occasional peaks to 70. Seems fine with me but for some reason recently sometimes when I use google search it quickly peaks the temp to 90C and my browser usage in task manager climbs to nearly 100%. It's noticeable because I can hear my cpu cooling fan speed up to max. It seems to happen only when there's an AI bot running to find an answer.
The solution was to switch to DuckDuckGo which seems to be just as good.
JavaScript seems to be the issue. Anyone else experience this?

I was going to ask if you use AI in Google Chrome, but you said any browser. I normally turn off AI features, and use them on demand.
Did you try the udm=14 trick for Google searches?

I use Google Search and Google AI Mode all the time via Chrome and haven't seen that.
I don't monitor temps but I have been known to watch CPU Usage.....
I thought I understood that Windows Updates only happened when the PC is idle.... BUT, that's when my PC goes nuts and I have very slow page loads....

Tnks. I'll try the udm=14 trick. Really not a fan of AI anyway.
