Windows 10 May Delete Your Programs Without Asking?
There is an article " Windows 10 May Delete Your Programs Without Asking", is this a reason to stay away from 10?
I probably won't go there as one user says "i am Linux now"
You probably can find the article by searching for it,, it came to me in a news letter.

That is the question I answered.
And with 7, 8, and 8.1, unless you really have your things together, you can not keep Win 10 off of it should the computer be hooked to the internet. Fact is, you can hide the win 10 updates and the next time you check for updates, they are there again.

Here is a link to the article:

I recommend you read it and decide for yourself.
You'll see things like:
Yes, Windows 10 may remove your programs without asking you– but you can get them back pretty easily.
Windows may remove programs during an update for compatibility reasons. I f a program is known to cause crashes, bugs, or otherwise conflict with Windows, Windows may remove it to keep your system stable. If this happens, the “All of your files are exactly where you left them” screen will appear like normal–this screen always appears during major updates–but Windows will actually have removed some of your program files.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

I read the article, wasn't sure if i should post it,
"I agree with Tom_Ruble, the best way to fix win 10 problems is with Linux" from here it it got warm
I have been able to contain it on 7 in the updates,, 8.1 it just pops up on the screen every once in awhile, but doesn't maintain a lock on updates like it did in 7,

For Windows 7,
Disable Windows Update entirely and just use Autopatcher for Critical updates.
Cheers.
