[RESOLVED] Product Key Doesn't Work

I am trying to activate Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit on a laptop. It says the code is no good. I get an error code OxC004C008.

This might be the third computer I put windows 7 on using this installation disk so I might have used up my allotment.

If it is a retail box copy, you should be able to move it from computer to computer, as long as it is only installed on 1 computer at a time, unless you got the original 3 licenses deal from M$.

You could try calling Microsoft.

I would try calling them too. If that doesn't help the Microsoft run forum for Win 7 activation problems would be another alternative..

They have lots more info on specific licensing issues and numbers than we could possibly have.
