Resolved [RESOLVED] Some You Tube Video's Have A Green Screen Only

This might not be the right place to ask but when I try to look at some You Tube video's the screen is green. The audio is there but no video. I tried changing the settings with no luck.

    Thanks.

Sounds like a codec problem. Have you tried using any other browsers?

What browser/version are you using? Can you post a link to one of the videos that is having problems?

First thing I'd try is to reinstall Flash http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ just click "install now" and uncheck the option for Chrome if you don't want it.

You may need "YouTube™ Flash-HTML5" addon

I reinstalled Flash player with no results. I installed "youtube flash-html5". Now it doesn't matter if I use Opera or Microsoft edge all youtube video's are green. Even the adds.

Note that there are 2 different versions of Flash; you need to install the plugin-browsers version for Opera.
    https://www.adobe.com/products/flash...ribution3.html

Flash is built-in to Edge, so no install required. If anything, you'd need to run Windows Update to update Edge.

There are several videos with "universal/toshibathriveroot/unroot method". Please provide a specific LINK or URL to a video you are having problems with.

I found this and it worked.

On whatever video it is that you're trying to watch, left click on it, get to settings, a little box for adobe flash player will come up...if the box is checked for enable hardware acceleration, uncheck it then close. Refresh the page and hit play.

In Opera, there should be a setting to turn off Hardware Acceleration. That might eliminate the need to do it each time and refresh the page. You can do the same thing in Internet Explorer, but Edge does not seem to have a setting for this (which is hardly surprising).
