[RESOLVED] New desktop SPECS
Hopefully I will see a quick response to my inquiry regarding this desktop computer. Anyone out there that may have one and if so, your input about its worth. TIA, as always.

I think that there wouldn't be anything wrong with that Setup as long as your not looking for Top of the Line.
Personally I've never heard Of Team (RAM)! I would be a little leery of the Power Supply, comes with the case (Case and PSU $29.99) (Think I'd splurge for a better PSU).
Are you ok with Onboard Video? Hard to believe that the Motherboard has a Serial Port and Parallel Port (Not many do these days).

Yep, the combo deal expired in 2 days. Maybe there is an omen there for me. Many thanks for your help.

It looks like a good deal for the 300 dollars they were asking but as suggested I would have upgraded the PSU immediately for around 50-75 dollars.

There is always a chance the PSU will go bad. I have not had the first one to stop working and take out the motherboard; etc. There is the first time, however. My Compaq is running a 250 watt PSU since day one and without a problem. Should consider myself to be fortunate, however. I think was I was being swayed by the SSD because I have been thinking of installing one in he Compaq and then cloning my HDD to the SSD.

There is a difference between 250w Quality and 250w junk.
Chances are if the Case with the Power Supply only cost $30, the Power Supply is junk!
The case most likely isn't all that great either, but it just houses the computers parts, it doesn't run them like the PSU!
Too bad that Deal is over, but I'm sure Newegg will have another soon!
BTW, that deal was still available when I responded last night!
