Aronis 2012 VS Acronis 2014
I have used the 2012 version for several years. Sometime ago I bought the 2014 version but have never installed it. Frankly I just forget about it but am now considering installing it. For you users of both versions, which is the better one? As always, TIA.

A big differences are that TI2014 supports Win8/8.1 and UEFI secure boot. You would need to download the latest update, though.
You can see the list of features here:

You didn't say which OS you are running. If you mean the system in your signature, then going to 2014 won't help you any.

(!) Windows 8.1 is supported in Build 6614 or later.
You'd need update TI2014 to Build 6614 or higher to get Win8.1 support.

Perhaps worth noting is something I noticed a couple of years ago. I found that Acronis TI is backwards compatible to work with previous version's images but not forward so if you install 2014, use it to make an image then decide to go back to 2012 it's quite possible that the image made with 2014 won't be useful.
Not an extremely likely scenario but probably just something to keep in mind.

Midknyte, I use Windows 7 Home Edition and based on what you are saying, 2014 is of no use to me.
Thanks to both you and fink for your responses.
