    display properties

    How do you remove items in the display properties, in the settings at start. That is go to settings, control panel, display, and you are there. any help would be greatly appreciated. CaptainT2874

    If you're speaking of Backgrounds and Screen Savers, backgrounds are .bmp files, and screen savers are .scr files.

    They are in c:\windows and possibly c:\windows\system (I'm on NT right now and can't double check this). If you delete these file they will not show up in the display window.
