open the search utility and you will find a "customize" button at the top of the search window.
Beat me to it Mosaic

G-fuNk-Click on Search. That should open a left hand pane, at the top of which is a button "Customize".

Hmmmm, you want to change the choices in there to stuff like google or something, or just get it off the toolbar?
Toolbar? Right-click next an empty space on button bar and choose "Customize". Then you find the Search in "Current", hi-light and click "Remove" button.
Change or add? I would like to do the same for IE 5.01. I would like to stick my own search engines in there. Right now I removed it. Probably a registry deal.
The only one in there I like is Altavista. Excite used to be okay. Rest suck.

I got Google in the quick launch bar, but if you click it while another browser is up, it will reuse that browser. Not sure why when the big blue [E launches in a new window. Don't like that, so would rather have it in the button bar on top.

"Try this. Go to Internet Options>advanced and be sure Reuse Windows For Launching Shortcuts is not checked."
Yes, that works, but I think there was some reason I didn't want that disabled. Can't remember now, but I guess it will show it's face to me later.

Thnxs for the help, wut ive done is removed the search button which was next to the home icon on the tool bar. The reason i asked whether u could change the content of it was because for some reason every time i clicked on the search button, some warez page would load in the left hand and pain, and this would be accompanied by some unwanted nude pictures.
