[Inactive] Virus(?) keeps asking to load Apps
I reformatted the HDD on my daughter's laptop a couple months ago and installed Win7 Ultimate 64-bit. She's doing an internship in Chicago and brought it back home this weekend, saying she had some kind of virus and it keeps asking her to load and update Applications.
I already had installed and was running MS Security Essentials.
I tried to download and install Malwarebytes and the browser wouldn't let me. It asked me to install UPlayer Video Player and also to upgrade my Codec. It also asked me to load Browser Safeguard and install Cinaplay. When I opened the Google page, I got a message "Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors".
It also opened a webpage for "RussianBrides.com" (I thought that one was funny.)
ok, I did run: (I downloaded them on another PC / jumpdrive and installed them)
> MS Security Essentials
> Malwarebytes
> Superantispyware
all with the most current upgrades.
I found several malicious items and removed all of them, but still getting these re-directs.
Any suggestions please.

Thanks Midknyte!
I'd appreciate some advice with getting this resolved quickly, my daughter is heading back to Chicago today. (I realize that may not allow enough time, so I'll fix whatever I can today and pick it back up over the Thanksgiving holiday.)
Thanks guys.
