Dell Inspiron 1564 Shuts Off
I replaced the motherboard on my Dell Inspiron 1564 and I get the following message:
"WARNING: The AC adapter type is less than 90w. This will prevent optimal system performance. Please check AC adapter connect properly, remove AC adapter and plug-in it again, thanks.
Press <F1> to continue...
Press <F2> to enter SETUP
Press <F12> to enter Boot Menu"
it stays on just long enough for me to get to BIOS and then shuts off. I replaced the motherboard and the heatsink was cleaned as was the fan which all appear to be working fine. The computer does NOT feel hot.
I have attached a image of the BIOS - unfortunately, I can't get anywhere after 4 seconds. This is all I manage to get. Looking at BIOS Screen:
BIOS version: A08
Product Name: Inspiron 1764 (not sure why it's reading it as a 1764 when it's a 1564)
AC Adaptor Type: 65 W
I am open to any and all suggestions to get this computer fixed. Please HELP - Thank you in advanceIMG_3568.jpg!!!

Welcome to VirtualDr
