Should i transfer or point my domain ?

Hi

I have a few domains registered with different companies, now I want to use them. Is it better to transfer the domain to the hosting company or is it better to point the domain to the hosting company from the domain name company I have registered with by just changing the DNS ?

..and do they affect SEO / google page ranking ?

Do you actually have sites set up for these domains as yet? If yes, as long as search engines can find them you should be OK. You need to make sure that the sites contain appropriate key words that someone looking for them would use, so the are indexed properly. As far as hosting goes, it may depend on what you want to do with a site/domain. Some hosting companies may not have the tools and capabilities you might need for your site functions.

I have 3 sites. One of them is hosted and domain registered with same company, 2 of them are forwarding to from a domain registrar to this hosting company.

Is it better to point the domains as im doing or transfer them to a hosting company ?

Doesn't really matter. The search engine is going to go to "www.whatever.com" and start indexing the pages.
