    Settings>Power>Shut Down doesn't work

    Started doing this a few days ago. Have to use power button. Nothing happens when I select shut down or restart.

    Sounds like a nasty, use system restore to rollback to where things run right.

    To start Windows 8's System Restore, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search). Type in Recovery in the search box, tap or click Settings, tap or click Recovery, then tap or click Open System Restore and follow the prompts.
