Changing email expiry dates
I have several emails that I wish to keep on my Bigpond account. Most of them are due to expire in a couple of months. Is there any way I can somehow change the expiry dates or keep them for an indefinate time. (Oversees travel, I don't want to loose them in case I need to access them).

Why not forward the emails you want to save to an email account that does not expire or delete old emails such as www.gmail.com ( mine has emails dating back to 2005 )
You could also check your Bigpond settings and see if it allows you to automatically forward received emails to another account, or perhaps to set up filters / rules to only forward emails you need to have access to.
