    Still updating removed hardware

    This may not be the right place to put this, but...

    Have a question about updates, Microsoft updates.

    I am subscribed to auto updates and they are installed almost daily. What I'm wondering is I had a Canon MP495 printer and did have the software installed. The printer malfunctioned and I returned it and now have a HP printer. I also uninstalled the software yet I keep getting Microsoft (yes, Microsoft) updates to my MP495 printer software. Is there something that I failed to uninstall?

    Did you check to see if it is still in device manager
    Maybe under USB, etc.
