    Canadian Pharmacies

This is sort of a "Dr" question. Is it illegal for Americans to buy drugs from Canadian pharmacies?
If not, are there any reliable ones?

    Thanks

Strictly speaking it is illegal for US citizens to buy drugs from foreign countries for personal use. Here is an article that explains it and how some people get around the law, which drugs may or may not be cheaper and finding reliable sources online..

Although they talk about the FDA as being the main reason it's illegal they don't really mention the intense lobbying that major pharma companies do and have done to keep it that way all in the name of profit.

pipercub--Illegality is not the only issue. Fake pharmaceuticals is another. Many drug "from Canada" are actually made in countries other than Canada (or the US).

Many guys on the cancer support forum I post on get their drugs on line. Most have had good look. They can get some meds for 50 cents each versus $22 bucks a pill.... Some guys have gotten burned with the credit cards... So if you do buy on line, get one of those one time only credit cards.

Also, many drug makers have coupons and such on their web site. Often times the coupons will cover your out of pocket part for 12 months.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.
