    VFAT Error

    When starting Win95, an error message stating "A device or resource required for VFAT is not availble, VFAT loading failed, system halted". What is VFAT looking for, and where do I go to attempt repair. This message is a Solid Blue screen with DOS characters. Help! Mr. Wizard.

    VFAT = Virtual File Allocation Table.

    Rather then going into trying to help solve, here is an excellent trouble shooting page at microsoft. Just double click it, should help you solve problem.
