    IE9 Messed Up

Hi all, I have a head scratcher. When I open IE9 and go to a website, let's say NFL.com, it loads up fine but when I click on a link to view a story and then hit the back button to go back it displays a page from 7 days ago. It displays the same page everytime, so what I mean is, it displays the page from October 1st. This happens to all my websites, NASCAR, CNN etc...
I've gone into settings and changed it to "Look for a new version of the web page everytime" I've even gone into the temp files for IE9 and deleted them, but it still comes back. I've deleted cookies also.
    Any Ideas!!???
I've switched to Chrome for now and it works fine.
    Thank You
    Dave

In IE->Tools->Options->Browsing History SETTINGS button-> Check for new versions of stored pages-> Select "every time I visit the webpage.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Hi Steve thank you for your response.
As I stated in my previous post I already tried that.

    lonewolf--For a work around, see
http://superuser.com/questions/46128...net-explorer-9 answer #1 down near the bottom.

Is this how you cleared your IE9 browser cache?

    Thank You for the response.
I knew about the F5 refresh and I've used it, but what I don't understand is it just started happening a week ago.
I never had this problem before and it's very annoying.
I've had other problems with IE9, links not working, graphics not displayed, can't go to my credit card company website (keep getting "Page Cannot Be Displayed") and so on.
I've now gone to Chrome and it works excellant, I think I'll just stay with it.
    Thanks again.

I too am having problems with IE9. When I try to open a file in my favorites it won't open until I right click and click open and it does not open right away.
I went to control panel to uninstal IE9 under programs and features, but I cannot find it there, even my homepage is slow to open.

braynch--You really should open a new thread with your question, since few people will see it here.
But the answer to your question as to how to uninstall IE9 is to go to Programs and Features and click "Uninstall a Program" in the top left. You should find Windows Internet Explorer 9 at the bottom of the list.
