Communication error Lexmark X6675
I am running windows 8 evaluation copy. It says the device is working and checked and this printer is compatible with windows 8. I have disconnected everything possible and also removed device but still cannot get this printer to work. I don't think it is a windows problem but problibly device issue. The wi fi symbol on the printer is solid orange. It is connected directly into pc with usb. Will take any kind of help here. Just want to cover all issues before I go buy new one. Also got error once about turning on bi-directional communication.

Orange LED is irrelevant if using USB connection.

I seriously doubt that Lexmark, (or anyone else for that matter), will ever create "An Illustrated Windows 8 Evaluation Version Troubleshooting Guide for the Lexmark X6675".

If SpywareDr's suggestion still does not resolve the issue,
Install the most current Windows 7 drivers for your mobo, especially the chipset.
Install the most current Windows 7 drivers for your printer.
Cheers.
