[RESOLVED] Unknown Addresses in Hotmail
I use Hotmail and I have begun to see several strange addresses showing in my Bcc list--and only in the Bcc Hotmail feature . These addresses do not appear in the Address Line, CC or my contact list. How these got to the Bcc section; I haven't any idea.
I don't recall when this began to happen or I would consider a system restore. Any help will be appreciated. As usual, TIA.

A system restore would not have any impact on that list.
First thing I'd do is change the password to that acc't in case it's been compromised.

Some malware scans of your computer may also be in order. Better safe than sorry. Note: Hotmail is a major hacker target these days. Your password should be at least 12-14 characters, no dictionary words, etc.

Thanks for your interest in and replies to my hotmail problem. I had changed my password about 10 days ago, I think. No malware and no reports of any virus. I gotta admit; this is a mystery. I have tried deleting them but that has been a no go.

Maybe contact Hotmail regarding the issue?

I went to Hotmail help forum and found this answer:
1. Sign in to your Windows Live Hotmail account.
2. Go to Options, then More Options.
3. Under Customizing Hotmail, click Advanced privacy settings.
4. Under Auto-complete suggestions select Only suggest people in my contact list.
5. Click and then save.
Took care of my problem with these unwanted addresses.

Got a new address showing today in my Bcc. Noticed it just nw when I wanted to send mail to several friends. Don't know what is going on but I will change my password again . Gotta put a stop to this "mess"; running out of passwords.
[email protected] is the address that is unwanted(and unloved by me)
