where can I download sfc.exe?
I do not have the system file checker on my computer - is there some place I can download sfc.exe?

Are you sure as it is automatically installed. If it is there, and the shortcut may be corrupt, it is located:
Start | Programs | Accessories |System Tools | System information
On the menu bar, click Tools. Click System File Checker.
Please do not use "PM" for personal help, post in forum so everybody can learn

Which windows are you using?
You do know this thread is over 8 years old. If you're using any operating system other than windows 98, please specify so I can move it to the appropriate forum.
