Resolved [RESOLVED] copy movie from digital camera to computer

Hi. I want to copy a short movie I made on my Pentax WG 1 to my puter and then embed it into an email. How do I do this? I have Adobe and I have Picasa.

    Does it have removable memory?

I usually remove the mem stick and use a adapter to tranfer graphics and video using explorer, to my computer.

Or use the USB cord that comes for charging the camera to transfer them using explorer.

So how do you do it? I have a USB cord that came with it to download photos. And I do not know how to get it to explorer. And can I use Firefox instead of explorer. Or maybe you are not talking about IE.
I do have a simm card in there but no adapter to get to puter.

The "how to" is in the Pentax Optio WG-1 manual:Chapter 8 "Connecting to a Computer".

For the future, a card reader is always worth having, given how little they cost. It's often just as easy to take the memory card out as it is to plug the USB cable in.

I have a adapter with each of my cameras. It is a lot less trouble to use and does not eat up the camera battery while transfering the files.
