IE8 Not Responding While Loading Website

When I loaded that page it took forever for some stupid, totally unrelated San Fransisco IDT news video over on the right side to load and start playing (loudly).

If this IS BETTER FOR YOU ALSO,you need to login and change your default skin to "TSF - V1.0" (It automatically goes to 2.0 unless you set it)

Progress so far:

Ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.61 - No malicious items detected

Ran the Repair IE8 script ie8-rereg.cmd

Reset IE8 Settings (With Delete Personal Settings)

This has made a small difference and speeded up the loading of web pages but I still get the problem with web pages that contain a large number of items and images although the delay is not as long as it was.

That should be fine. The site itself is a bit laggy, at least right now it is. This page:

took their server almost 10 seconds to assemble and display. (I was about to give up).

Another slow down is the really annoying, noisy video ads. (Dude!, I'm trying to read. Better yet, buh-bye. ).

Is it just IE that's slow? In other words, does the same site perform any better in a different browser?

5 seconds for the site to come up in FF and I killed that noisy garbage.

Servers are slow and found a few other sites today where slow too.

After extensive reading and running the TCP/IP Analyzer on speedguide.net, I have made the following changes:-

Set MTU To 1492 On Router
Set MTU To 1492 On Computer
Set ProtocolMTU To 1480 In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NdisWan\Parameters\Protocols\0

Set RWIN To 60984
Set TcpWindowSize To 121968 In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
Set GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize To 400000 In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

Set Max Number Of Simultaneous HTTP 1.0 Connections To 8
Set Max Number Of Simultaneous HTTP 1.1 Connections To 4


The result is a much faster loading of web pages.

Yes that definetly helps doesnt it??

I have DR. TCP and nothing is in the MTU box so it must use the default MTU setting and for my RWIN i have had it set to 64240 for awhile now.......

I also have my MAX CONNECTIONS set to 48 (That helps also)

When you say "I also have my MAX CONNECTIONS set to 48 (That helps also)" do you mean you have set both MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server and MaxConnectionsPerServer to decimal 48 in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
