[RESOLVED] Windows IE8 on WinXP SP3 - Useless Tabs
Hi All,
On my computer using WinXP SP3, and IE 8.0.6001.18702 Update Version 0, I have the default search engine set to Bing and as my homepage.
Every time I open IE8, the Bing search tab comes on (as expected) as my homepage.
BUT - there are 2 additional tabs :-
1- Yahoo! Toolbar
2- Special Offers on Skype
Please help me by telling me how to get rid of these two annoying tabs.
Thank you all in advance.

What happens if you CLOSE ALL TABS and then close the browser and re-open it??

IETools->Options->Home Page section. Remove the two unwanted URLs.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.
