wireless
Hi everyone
Yesterday I got a new internet connection to my place thru a DSL modem. Directly I connect to my PC and I accessed the internet without a problem.
I installed my wireless Linksys modem router (WAG200G) by connecting the CAT5 cable from the wall to the router point 1 and from the router point 2 on the router to the PC network card and I had access to the internet (Desktop).
I try connecting my iPhone and my iPad to the wireless network, I see a strong signal on both devices but I can’t access the internet on any of them accept the desktop (I tried both secured (password protected) and unsecured (open) ) and in both cases I couldn’t access internet.
I managed to connect iPhone to iTunes on my desktop without a problem (which means the wireless network exist)
I disconnected the router and took it to my office, with the same configuration I managed to connect my iPhone to the internet without a problem.
When I came back to my place I could access the internet on the desk top only but I cannot access internet on iPhone or iPad (back to square 1).
I am clueless… can any one assist?
Thanks
Ahmed

I don't know if this might apply to your Linksys model or not, but you might at least have a look at it:

thank you for your effort,
i managed to solve the issue, i found out that the technician who installed the line had set up the dial-up connection and authorized ME only to connect to the internet, i established another connection authorizing Me and Anyone use this computer.
that solved the problem, now my iPhone and iPad can connect to the internet as long as my desk top is on and connected to the internet
