Vista will not connect to Gigaset SE567 router

I am visiting relatives. They have a Gigaset SE567 gateway router set with WEP security. I am able to connect my iPad and iPhone to the network (wifi) without difficulty. As well, our hosts have a Windows 7 machine connected. My wife's Vista Home Premium machine however will not connect to the wifi. It does work if plugged directly into the router. When trying to connect by wifi the error message that appears is " network authentication settings do not match the settings on this computer" (or something like that). Any suggestions how we can get connected? Thanks.

Solved it by manually adding the network, which I had tried previously and failed although after a few attempts it worked.
