[RESOLVED] free space cleaner
Is there a good free space cleaner that will work on a old ME system?
Thanks

Hi Rodney,
Not sure what you mean by a 'free space cleaner', maybe others will know.
But for it's time ME had a very good defrag program, that Microsoft even permitted Windows 98 users to use it.
Going into Control Panel and using Add/Remove Programs will 'free up' some space by removing unwanted programs.
*** Help others less fortunate.

I found one, I remembered that I had a old old version of evidence eliminator.
Took me awhile to find it, I try to never lose old software. You never know when it will come in handy.
And I have it running at 9 free space passes.
And David,
A free space cleaner will remove any left over traces of files, programs, well Anything..
That way If someone were to run a recovery program, they won't find anything
