mass attack

I have the free avg installed


My comp has the sound of being very busy... like when my
weekly scheduled scan comes on for 2 hours every week..

but now say every minute or two a notice comes up...
resident shield... threat removed


trojan horse s heur 3 awdp dropper


trojan horse agent 2 bgze

are two of the threats Ive noticed... but there seem to be other non trojan threats too


I did a full system scan for threats last night
a massive 300 were found and deleted.


am I under some kind of mass attack ?
should I relax and let resident sheild take care of it ?

I downloaded a firefox image grabber add on to firefox
last night, from hippo , just before all this started... surely that cant be connected ?

I v e since deleted the browser add on .

things have calmed down since yesterdays mass attack
prob mainly by trojans.

Im left with about half of my gizmos not working...
irfan view... xn view... audacity .... bs viewer.... faststone viewer...
the list goes on and on

Ive seen a notice come up... cant find dll...file. or something
I wonder if the trojan just goes round nicking that tiny
dll file and thus disabling everything and now I have to
spend hours reinstalling all my gizmos !
